Ordination Novena for Deacons Casey Cooney,

- Bishop Hying will ordain four men to the priesthood on Friday, May 22, 2026! Please join us in praying a novena for them from May 13 to 21 as they prepare for their ordinations.
  
  The prayers are in the drop-down boxes below. You can also join us each day on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter), where the prayer intentions will be shared at 5:00 am.
  
  Our priest ordinations will be Friday, May 22 at 7:00 pm at St. Maria Goretti Church in Madison. The ordination is open to the public, but seating is limited, so arrive early if you'd like to attend! You can also view a live-stream at madisondiocese.org/live.
- Day 1 (May 13): Devotion in Celebrating the Mass
  Ordination Novena for Deacons Casey Cooney, Barry Meinholz, Luis Reyes, and Mark Wagner, Day 1: May our new priests celebrate every Mass that they offer with devotion, care, and a desire to conform their lives to the self-offering of Christ on the Cross and in the Eucharist.

May the graces of their ordination conform them ever more closely to You as they seek to imitate You, the Good Shepherd.
