Mental Health MinistryDiocese of Madison
Mental Health Ministry is a ministry of the Apostolate for Persons with Disabilities - Diocese of Madison. It is focused on providing awareness, advocacy, and accompaniment for individuals living with mental health challenges.
It is grounded in the truth that every person is made in the image and likeness of God. The ministry offers encouragement, spiritual care, and resources for Catholics navigating mental health struggles, reminding them they are not alone and that they are deeply loved by God and His Church.
The ministry also works to equip clergy, parish staff, and volunteers through education, training, and support in helping cultivate mental wellness within the Church.

Keynote: New Life in Christ: A Catholic Path of Recovery, Conversion, and Healing
Breakout Sessions: for Spanish speaking community, for Catholic therapists, discussion on substance use and discussion on codependency and boundaries
Lunch and Free Time
Keynote: Hope in the Storm: Guiding Catholic Families Affected by Addiction
Connection Time: Learn about Catholic mental health resources, connect with those involved in Mental Health Ministry, spend time in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, spend time in nature, etc.
Reflection from Bishop Hying on faith and mental health
Vigil bilingual Mass in the chapel(The Mixing Bowl from Sauk City will have religious items available for purchase throughout the day.)

Mental Health Ministry Retreat

DonationsThe Mental Health Ministry Retreat is made possible through the Apostolate for Persons with Disabilities.
While there is no required registration fee, a suggested donation of $25 helps offset the costs of the retreat, including facility rental, breakfast, and lunch.If you are able, please consider making a donation using the link below. Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated and help make this retreat possible for all.
On the donation form, you will see a box directly under the donation amount. Please specify that the donation is being made for the Mental Health Ministry Retreat.
